Training modules for citizens, traders and agricultural professionals

The HORTA-EU project is launching a short training course designed for citizens, retailers, restaurants, farmers, and agricultural producers. The aim is to understand, promote, and benefit from local and regional products, sustainable agriculture, and circular economy practices.

Who can participate?

The program is structured into three practical modules, each tailored to a specific audience and delivered through short videos, slides, infographics, and hands-on activities. All materials are available in English, Spanish, and Italian.

Module 1 - Introduction to the European Green Deal and the “Farm to Fork” Strategy (For Citizens)

You will understand the value of local products, their environmental and social benefits, and how everyday food choices contribute to the European Green Deal.

Module 2 – The Value of Local Products and Strategies for Their Promotion (For Retailers, Markets, and the Hospitality Sector)

You will acquire simple and practical tools to integrate, promote and communicate local products.

Module 3 – Circular Economy, Sustainable Resource Management, and Financing (For Farmers and Producers)

You will strengthen your practical skills in sustainable production, cooperation, communication and access to financing.
